9th annual Stumpy’s Block Party
Sunday, May 29, 3-9 p.m.
Join us for our annual block party on Sunday, May 29, 2011, at 3 p.m. for live music, great food and drinks and fun for the whole family! Proceeds benefit Working Families’ Friend, a great local organization that helps struggling families through tough times.
Here’s our band lineup this year:
- Charlie and the Stingrays, covering rock ‘n’ roll hits from the ’60s-’80s
- Platinum Express, a jazzy rhythm and blues band steeped in the Kansas City tradition
- Cherry Bomb, covering top dance hits of all decades
The Stumpy’s Block Party will be in the parking lot of Governor Stumpy’s, 321 E. Gregory, KCMO 64114. The event kicks off at 3 p.m. and ends around 9, rain or shine.
Tickets
We have a special discounted price for anyone who pays by cash or check in advance: just $7 each, available at Governor Stumpy’s or through Working Families’ Friend. Tickets are also available online for $10 – click here to buy your tickets now! Tickets are $10 at the door the day of the show. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free.
Why the price difference?
We want to give a discount to those who pay with cash or check when they visit us at Governor Stumpy’s because that way more of the money we raise can go toward Working Families’ Friend, and not to pay the credit card companies’ fees.
A note about buying your tickets online
Once you’ve made your purchase, you will need to check your e-mail for the official link to your tickets. Each ticket will have a scannable barcode on it that will allow us to quickly check you in on the day of the concert, so make sure you click on the link in your e-mail that says “Click here to view and print online.” And if you’ve purchased multiple tickets, please enter your guest names on that first screen you’ll see after you click the link in your e-mail.
Sell tickets to raise money for your organization!
